THE LION HEARTS...

A lion, is always a lion, it lives as lion and dies as lion, never compromising in its nature, never yielding, ever ready, charged, fearless, roaring and terrifying. I always admire lion heart-ed people, people with great courage and un-compromising nature.


NTR, apart from his qualities of hard working, honest & bold nature, i believe, its his lion hearted nature made him a REAL NTR. Whether it is to take a decision to fight against congress - when no one ever thought would be possible, whether it is to ban Liquor - when there is no other major source of income to the state, whether it is to cancel Patels and Patwaris in Telangana region - When its almost impossible to run the govt without them, marrying at such an old age and introducing Laksmi Paravathi (I am not debating whther it is right or wrong) to the world as his wife, and giving her all the due importance as his wife and  many other things of such, stories of this nature, can be heard of NTR from many who worked with him, lived with him, & seen him closely. When Chandrababu back stabbed NTR, he said, "I am a Lion, I lived like a lion, and I will die like a Lion, I will not yield to him, and I will not back stab like he did, and its in my own nature." I heard a  story in one of the interview from a national figure, "when Indira Gandhi is holding a meeting with CM's of the states, and NTR is also in the meeting, her nature of dictating terms to them, and CM's sitting like beggars and not uttering a word to anything that she was saying, frustrated NTR stood up and kicked the chair and said some thing, which means "States and CM's are no servants to you, we are the elected ones and its our right to get a good % of what we paying to the center as taxes and walked out demanding 50% of funds and some kind of autonomous"...... every body in the room shocked to see some one questioning Indira". Many agree, that if he would have alive, he would have become the first PM of India, who is not from Congress. He is the figure of self respect, courage, and fearless. He is one of the most influential person to the AP, great servant of Telugu, and would have been influential to the country in a great way, if things would have gone well.
While remembering NTR, I pray my respect to people like him, who share his qualities of bold and fearless, like Tangutoori, Sardar Patel, Azad, Bhagat, and millions of Indians who are unknown, but built the nation of India with their character, actions and the sacrifices that they paid.

ఛ... ఈ రాధా కృష్ణ కి పని పాట లేదు ..... వెళ్ళేవాడు ఒక్కడు పోక నన్ను వెంటేసుకుని పోయాడు ఆ youngitsan ప్రోగ్రాం కి .....చప్పట్లు కొడితే సంకలు గుద్దుకుని ఎమన్నా నేను ఆ రోజు......."తమ్ముడు నా పైన వచ్చిన అవినీతి ఆరోపణలు నువ్వు రుజువు చేయగలిగితే నా ఆస్తి నీకు రాసిస్తా, నిరూపించగలవా?" అని సవాలు విసిరా....'ABN youngistan' ప్రోగ్రాం లో. వినే వాడు పోరాగాడే  కదా అని సవాలు విసిరా..., మరి ఈ హై కోర్ట్ గని విన్నదో ఏమో... నా పైన విచారణకి ఆదేశించింది.... ....


అయినా, నా నా గడ్డి తిని, మామ పైకి చెప్పులు విసిరి, బావ పై బూతు పురాణం ఎత్తుకుని, NTR ని పదవిలో నుండి దించి, అందరిని మేనేజ్ చేస్తూ తొమ్మిది సంవత్సరాలు ఎండా వాన అని లేకుండా బండ లాగ పని చేస్తే, ఆ మాత్రం కూడబెట్టుకోనివ్వకపోతే ఇంక ముక్య మంత్రి  పదవి ఎందుకు.  అసలే కార్యకర్తల పార్టీ ఆయే, వచినాడికి మందు విందు, రాని వాడికి చదివింపులు బుజ్జగింపులు, బాబులకి  క్రికెట్ బాట్ లు, పాపాలకి సైకిల్ లు, అమ్మలకి చీరలు, ఆడపడుచులకి కుంకమ బరెనలు, బాబాయిలకి బీరు బాటిళ్ళు , ఎక్కడనుండి వస్తాయనుకున్టాయో ఈ కోర్ట్ లు....... నల్ల కోఅటేసుకుని, తెల్ల బుగ్గ కారు లో వచ్చి..... విచారణ చేయండి అంటే సరిపోయిందా.... వీళ్ళకి రాజకీయం చేయమని ఇస్తే తెలిసేది  నా ఈ బాధ లు .....


తొమ్మిది సంవత్సరాలు ముక్క్యమంత్రి గా చేసి, గత ఆరు నెలలనుండి రాష్ట్రము అంతా అవినీతికి వ్యతిరేకము గ ప్రచారం చేస్తున్ననా  లాంటి  వారిపైకి ఇలాంటి కేసులు పెడుతుంటే ఇంక సామాన్యుల సంగతి ఏంటి......అసలా ప్రభుత్వం ఉందా లేదా... ? వెంటనే ముక్క్య మంత్రి దిగిపోయి నన్ను మళ్ళీ CM ని చేస్తే సరిపోద్ది....
రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి ఉన్నప్పుడే బాగుండేది, అసెంబ్లీ లో ఒక సారి......., మీడియా ముందు రెండు  సార్లు తిట్టుకుని , తలుపు చాటు కెళ్ళి తందనాలు ఆడేవాళ్ళం ........చూసినోల్లు ఎవడు పెద్ద దొంగో కనిపెట్టేలోపు మాల్లో సారి తిట్టుకుంటే సరిపోయేది.....ఆ రోజులే వేరు........ ఈ మధ్య కోర్ట్ లు మరీ ఎక్కువ చేస్తున్నాయి, ..... చిన్న అంతరం పెద్ద అంతరం లేకుండా....


ప్రజలు నా మీద ప్రేమ తో ఇచిన పన్నుల డబ్బులతో మూడు సింగపూర్లు ఆరు స్విస్స్ బ్యాంకులు, ఆ విధంగా ముందుకు పోతుంటే, చూసి తట్టుకోలేని వాళ్ళు కుట్ర పన్ని ఇలా చేస్తారా............ అయినా... కోపం ఉంటె తిట్టాలి, సవాలు విసరాలి, ఉమ్మేయ్యాలి, ....అంతే కానీ ఇలా కోర్ట్ గడపలేక్కుతరా....నేను ఇప్పటి వరకు మీడియా ముందు వందల మందిని తిట్ట...... కానీ ఎవరిపైనన్న కోర్ట్ లో కాసు వేసానా....ఆ మాత్రం Vision లేకుంటే రాజకీయాలు ఎట్లా చేస్తారు ఏమో .......నా సంగతి గాని ఎమన్నా అటు ఇటు కావలి, అందరి బాగావతాలు బయట పెడతా.....

Stop hating...Start Thinking...

politics through hatred, politics through destruction, politics through harassment, politics through attacks politics through money laundering, politics through terror..... are the politics that India is seeing in general and the pinnacle of of it can be seen in Andhra Pradesh. Is there no way in independent democracy except destruction that an opinion can be made? is there no way in independent democracy that a decision can be made except through rokos and bandhs? What we all seeing today..? Even in the times of British Rule, and when the people like Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagath Singh convinced India to fight British with Arms, Gandhi lead the war through peace and compassion. 

If Telangana is the need, why would one need to hate Andhra people, why would on need to torch the buses, why would need to stop the medical services, why would one need stop the education to the child, why would one need to stop the transportation, why would one need to stop the Electricity to farmers. By the way, with all this who is suffering? after all its Telganites that are leading miserable life. When my family needed an emergency medical service there is no doctor, & no transportation, these are not statements but experiences. By now every family has experienced and had a story on how difficult to lead life without the basic necessities. Educated wise first class citizens relaxing on leather sofas, holding beer on their hands are saying, let us continue the strike, until we get Telangana.......but what about the people that has to work on that day to eat on that day.....do you know how many people buy necessary groceries on daily basis...if you have the courage to see, interiors of the villages show you the worst of the times....

What it makes so funny is that KCR calling andhra people as Settlers, and telling them to go back.....if that's what he really wants, he should be the first to one to get out of Telangana. where did he come from.? He at least came for his studies, but why would others came to Telangana? is it with the idea to launder Telangana or is there a noble cause to it? 

People from Andhra came to Telangana before KCR even born in Andhra region and that too because government encouraged andhra region people to come to Telangana to power boost the agricultural sector in Telangana and that's the reason you see Andhra people, but not many Rayalaseema people in Telangana. Andhra people came here to fight against Nizam through "Andhra Maha Sabha" organization, even before the Telangana Andhra merger was proposed. 

In the sovereign India, if one has a demand, he has a right to express it and there are means to achieve it, If Telangana is what we need, taking the majorities opinion, I will stand by it.....but why leaders have to foster the hatred, why leaders have to destroy the livelihoods, why leaders have to forge and cast the lies....

I would be happy to see if Telangana be happy through Telangana state, but I would not be happy to see KCR and his family sitting in the chairs of Legislature to decide the future of Telangana.

రాజా వారి కానుకలు

రాజాది రాజ మహారాజ రాజ మార్తాండ శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు దసరా కానుకగా కిలో రెండు రూపాయలు ఉన్న బియ్యాన్ని ఒక రూపాయి కే ఇస్తూ ఈరోజు దండోరా వేసారు. అంతే కాకుండా ఇక నుండి ప్రతీ ఆరు నెలలకి ఒక సారి ఒక కొత్త పధకము తో వస్తానని కూడా మాట ఇచ్చారు.

 అసల ముందు ఈ పదకాలని అమలు చెయ్యడానికి డబ్బులు ఉన్నాయా లేవా అన్నది పక్కన పెడితే అసలు ఎవరు అడిగారని ఈ పధకాన్ని ఇప్పుడు ప్రకటించారు. పేద వాడు తినడానికి తిండి లేక, ఆకలి తో బాధ పడుతున్నవానికి నాలుగు మెతుకులు పెడితే ఏ తలాకాయ ఉన్నవాడు కాదనడు . కాని ఎవరి కడుపులు నింపడానికి ఈ పధకం. అసలా ఈ పధకం అమలు అయ్యేపరిస్తుతులు ఉన్నాయా. మన రాష్ట్రం  లో వై.ఎస్ గారు చేతికి ఎముకలేనట్టు గా కర్ణుణ్ణి   మించిపోయి, అడిగిన వారికి అడగని వారికి, చివరికి చనిపోయిన మహాత్మా గాంధీ గారి పేరు మీద కూడా తెల్ల కార్డు ని మంజూరు చేసేసారు. ఆ విధము గ,  స్వ స్వర్గస్తులు అయిన వై. ఎస్  దయతో ఈ రోజు మన రాష్ట్రము లో ఉన్నవారందరు పేదవారే. కాబట్టి బలిసినోడికి బక్క చిక్కినోడికి అన్న తేడా లేకుండా కిలో రూపాయికే బియ్యాన్ని పంపిణి చేస్తున్నారు మహారాజ వారు.

రాజు గారు కానుకలు విదిల్చి కళ్ళు మూసుకుంటే, రాజ సేవకులు నోరు తెరుచుకుని పందికొక్కుల్ల దొరికిన కాడికి మేసేస్తున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వ పంపిణి వ్యవస్తః లో ఈరోజు కనీసం సగానికి పైగా దొంగల పాలు అవుతుంది. అన్నీ దొంగ  లెక్కలే. RTI లో బాగంగా ఒక రేషన్ షాప్ ని తనికీ చేసి అందులో పంపిణీ చేసాము అని ఉన్న వారిని వెళ్లి అడిగితే లెక్కల్లో ఉన్న వారెవవ్రికి రేషన్ చేరలేదు. ఇలా ఉంది మన పంపిణీ వ్యవస్థ.

 ఒక పక్క కష్టించి పండించిన రైతు గిట్టు బాటు ధరలేక పంటలు వెయ్యడమే మానేసి ఇంట్లో కూర్చుంటుంటే ఎవరిని ఉద్దరించడానికి మరి ఈ కిలో రూపాయి పధకము. ఇక్కడ రూపాయికి బియ్యాన్ని అందివ్వడానికి  అక్కడ  రైతులకి మద్దతు ధర పెంచరు. సిగ్గు ఉనడాలి ఎదన్న పధకాన్ని ప్రకటించే ముందు. ప్రజలు అడగరు కాబట్టి ఏదైనా చేసేస్తారు. దీనికన్నా రాజులే బాగా చేసారు. ఇక ఇటువంటి వాటిని ప్రకటించడానికి మద్యాన్ని ఊరూరా వాడ వాడల ఏరులై పారిస్తారు. సంవత్సర సంవత్సరానికి పెంచుకుంటున్న మధ్యపు ఆదాయం చూస్తే ఎవ్వరికైనా అర్ధం అవుతుంది. ఈరోజు Youngistan ప్రోగ్రాం లో బొత్స సత్యన్నారాయణ సిగ్గు లేకుండా రెండు జిల్లాల్లో మధ్యపు వ్యాపారాలు ఉన్నాయని చెప్పుకోచాడు, అటువంటి వాడు మద్యాన్ని ఎందుకు కంట్రోల్ చేస్తాడు. 

మళ్ళీ  అధికారం లోకి రావడం ఒక్కటేనా ధ్యేయం, విద్య వైద్యం అభివృద్ధి ఎందుల్లో బాగున్నామని మనం. శ్రీలంక తో పోల్చుకున్న్న  మనం దిగదుడుపే. ఏదో 1991 సంస్కరణల మూలంగా  దేశం అభివ్రద్ది చెందుతుంది కాబట్టి ఆ గాలి లో పడి  కొట్టుకు పోవడమే తఃప్పితే నిజమయిన నిజాయితీ  అయిన నాయకత్వాన్ని ఇచ్చి రాష్ట్రాన్ని మరియు దేశాన్ని సరికొత్త  మార్గం లో నడిపించగల సత్తువ లేకుండా పోయిందీ నాయకత్వానికి. 

ఇలా ప్రభుత్వాలు ఉంటె ప్రతిపక్షాలు ఇంకా గోరం, ఎన్ని సార్లు ఎన్ని ప్రతిపక్ష పార్టీ లు నిజమయిన ప్రజా సమస్యలపైన  పోరాడినాయి. గత రెండు సంవత్సరాలనుండి గన్ ది జగన్ రాష్ట్ర మంతా ఒదారుస్తూనే ఉన్నాడు ఇంకా ఓదార్పు లు కాలేదట. మార్పు మార్పు అంటూ వచ్చాడు ది స్టార్ మెగా స్టార్, వచ్చిన మొదటి రోజు నుండి టికెట్స్ అమ్మడం మొదలు పెట్టి ప్రజారాజ్యం పార్టీ ని  కాంగ్రెస్ గ మార్చే వరకు ఎన్నో మార్పులు చేసాడు పాపం. చిరు ని చూస్తే నవ్వు తప్పితే కనీసం కోపం కూడా రావడము లేదు, ప్రజారజ్యానికి వోటు వేసినవాడు ఎంత బాధ పడుతున్నాడో పాపం. ఇక మన బాబు గారు,  ఈరోజు ఒకటి అంటాడు, దాన్ని వదిలేస్తాడు రేపు ఇంకోటి, రెండు రోజులాగి మరోటి, దేనికి ఏ సమస్యకి పరిష్కారం చూపాడు. ఇక KCR తన  గురిచిన ప్రస్తావనే అనవసరం. వరసగా బందులు, తనకి తన కుటుంబానికి  ఏమిటి నష్టం  వాళ్ళ కార్లలో వాళ్ళు  చక్కగ తిరుగుతున్నారు. సామాన్య ప్రజలకి  బయటకి వెళ్ళడానికి బస్సులు లేవు, వైద్యానికి డాక్టర్ లు లేరు, వస్తువులు కొనాలంటే షాప్ లు లేవు. తెలంగాణా పేరుతో  మహా గొప్ప రాజకీయ  కోట ని కట్టుకుంటున్నాడు. తెలంగాణా ని వ్యతిరేకిన్చాడము చేయడం లేదు కాని ఇదేనా తన పంధా, ప్రజలని ఇబ్బంది పెట్టడమా ఉద్యమము అంటే. 

ప్రజలు ఏ రోజైతే బోల్డ్ గా నిజాయితీగా ఆలోచిస్తారో, ఏ రోజైతే నాయకులని వారు వేసే వోటు బ్యాంకు  వేశాలని  నిలదీస్తారో ఆరోజు వరకు ఇలా మాట్లాడుకుంటూనే ఉండాల్సి వస్తుంది. 

సత్తా ఉన్నవారు ప్రజలలో నిలబడి  ప్రత్యామ్న్యాయం ఇస్తాము, కొత్త రాజకేయ్యాన్ని అందిస్తాము అని చెప్పి, మరియు చెప్పిందే చేస్తూ ఉంటె,  కనీసం వారిని గుర్తించే  సత్తా కూడా ప్రజలలో లేకపోవడం దురదృష్ట కరము....

Supreme columnists, thinkers, historians etc.. are considering Ann's movement for anti graft bill as one of the biggest after freedom fight struggle. After all, it is the only movement after 65 years of independence that churned people across India  from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Historians almost ready to document Anna's movement as a 2nd freedom movement of India. If everything goes as per Anna, Gandhian follower would be placed next to Gandhi in successfully bringing the nation onto a common platform. Though I am not fully in line with Anna's Jan lokpal bill, I really admire his commitment and persistent fight against the super powers of the government. When Anna sat on fast for the first time, even Anna himself did not anticipated or estimated such a huge support across the nation. Govt is highly aware of the consequences if Anna sits on fast again. But the problem is that they always get new problems while trying to solve the old problem. Just by arresting Anna Congress made an uncorrectable mistake on their part, which helped to spread the movement from cities, town to the corners of the villages. The politicians were blinded in realising how vexed the people are with the corruption levels. I feel people are ready to support any cause or person working to bring a positive change in the society. It is evident that people show complete un trust on present politicians and politics. My feeling is that people are ready to support a genuine and dependable person but politicians are not ready yet. As JP always says "వీర  గంధము  తెచ్చినాము  వీరులేవ్వారు చెప్పుడి ". So people are looking for their representatives who can really work for them, but leaders are not ready for it. Time has come to look for alternatives....and the time has come to put forth the country above all...so is the time to support true politics of Loksatta.

OUR APPEAL TO ALL INDIANS (Please forward this message to as many people as you can)

My dear friend,

It is more than evident that our Government and all the political parties are unwilling to enact a strong law against corruption. Because if they did so, many of them would face imprisonment. There is a serious conflict of interest. None of the large scams like the Adarsh Housing scam, the Commonwealth Games scam, the Reddy brothers scam, Fodder scam, Health mission scam of UP, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha scam, Cash for vote scam are covered by government.s Lokpal. What use is such a Lokpal Bill? It is weak and ineffective. It has a very narrow jurisdiction. None of the corruption faced by a common man is covered under it either. Please refer to my recent article http://news.indiaagainstcorruption.org/?p=3129 on this issue for more specifics on why we think the government draft is not serious about tackling corruption.

Anna.s fast from 16th August is our last hope. We can.t afford to fail this time. For if we fail, we may never get another chance. Its now or never.

A number of people across the country are planning various protest activities. You can organize your own or or you can participate in any manner possible.

1st August to 9th August: Many people across the country are forming small teams and undertaking short and long padyatras. They would talk to people on their way, hold meetings, distribute pamphlets (download pamphlet from http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org/downloads.html) and show Jan Lokpal film. Would you like to plan a Yatra with your friends?

From 9th August: Mass burning/tearing of government.s Bill as a mark of non-violent protest. Anna will start it most likely from Delhi or Mumbai.

From 9th August to 15th August: People in villages, towns and mohallas will form teams and go for prabhat pheri in mornings singing patriotic songs and educating people about corruption and Jan Lokpal Bill. In the evening, there would be candle light and mashal marches.

15th August: Switch off lights from 8 pm to 9 pm on independence day as a mark of support for the anti-corruption movement.

Fast starts from 16th August: Government says they would crush Anna.s fast the way they crushed Baba Ramdev.s movement. We are ready for that. We will offer ourselves for arrest if the government decides to arrest us. We are ready to face their batons and bullets. But we will not move from there. We will not retaliate. It will be a completely non-violent movement.

But if the people take a week off from their work from 16th August and take to the streets- in front of their house, on the crossings, in parks, everywhere . with a tricolor in their hands, raise slogans against corruption - Government can crush one Anna, but it won.t be able to crush 120 crore Annas. Government could impose section 144 on one Jantar mantar. But will it impose curfew on the whole country?

If the whole country takes to streets for a week from 16th August, WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, can force the government to enact a strong Jan Lokpal Bill.

తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్ర సాధన కోసం బలి దానానికి సిద్దమని ఆత్మ త్యాగం చేసుకుంటామని ప్రగల్భాలు పలికిన గొంతులు రాత్రి అవ్వగానే మత్తు మందులో తడిచి పోతుంటే, ఆ మాటలు విన్న సామాన్యుడు క్షనికవేసుడై తన ప్రాణాలని బలి తీసుకుంటున్నాడు. తన వారిని రోడ్ పైకి నెడుతూ మరొక ప్రాణం గాలి లో కలిసిపోయింది. యాది రెడ్డి ఆత్మ శాంతించాలని మరొక యాది రెడ్డి భవిష్యత్తులో కనపడరాదని ఆశిస్తున్నాను

మనసులు అవసరాలు విశ్వాసాలు ప్రాణాలతో ఆటలాడు వారికీ రాజకీయ వ్యాపారం బాగా కలిసి వస్తుది. వారు రేపిన చిచ్చు లో సామాన్యడు చితి మంటై వెలుగుతుంటే, ఆ వేడి లో చలి కాచు కుంటూ కాలం వెళ్ళదీస్తున్న మన రాక్షస నాయక ఘనం విందులు చేసుకుంటుంది.

ఈ రోజు రాజకీయం అంటే రెచ్చగొట్టడం, ఉసి గోల్పడం, ధ్వంసం చెయ్యడం, దుర్భాశాలడడం, విడతీయడం , విసృకలత్వాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడం, అసహనం ప్రదర్శించడం.....

కేరళ లో ఒక కోర్టు కేసు లో తీర్పు చెప్తూ, "భరత మాత సహన శీలి, భారతీయులు సహనన్న్ని పాటించాలి" అని తీర్పు చెప్పింది. నేడు రాజకీయాల్లో అసహనాన్ని ప్రదర్శించడమే ఒక గొప్ప అర్హత..... అదే మనం చూపుతున్నం అదే మనం నేర్పుతున్నాము....

Camera ని మొహం పైకి ఫోకస్ చెయ్యగానే, ఆవేశాన్ని నరనరాన నటిమ్పచేసి చూపుతుంటే, అది నటన అని తెలియని ప్రజలు, కోపోద్రిక్తులై వారి సంఘటిత  శక్తి ని తర తరాలు గా నెలకొల్పుకున్న చరిత్ర ని ద్వంసం చెయ్యడానికి, మహానుభావులు మార్గ నిర్దేశం చేసిన మన పూర్వీకుల విగ్రహాలను నెల కూల్చడానికి, సోదర భావం తో మెలిగిన వారి మధ్య యుద్ధ వాతావరణం కల్పించడానికి పని చేస్తున్నారు.

తెలంగాణా పేరు మీద, ట్యాంక్ బండి పైన ఉన్న విగ్రహాలు కూల్చేశారు, బావి రాజకీయాలకోసం పునాదులు వేస్తున్న J.P. లాంటి వారి పైన దాడులు చేసారు, నేడు ఏమి తెలియని ఏమి సంబంధం లేని ఒక ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగి పైన బల ప్రయోగం చేసారు

రాజకీయ నాయకులు పలికిస్తున్న వీరత్వానికి సామాన్యుడు మాత్రమే సమరం లో సమాధి గ మిగులుతున్నాడు....వాటిపై నిర్మించిన కోటల పై నాయకులు ప్రసంగా పాటలు వినిపిస్తున్నారు. చనిపోయే వారిని ఆపాల్సిన అవసరం నాయకులకి లేదు,  ఆవేశానికి లోను కాకుండా ఉండాలన్న ఆలోచానా సామాన్యుడు కి  రాదు........

BABA RAMDHEV....

Another tide with force of anti corruption and black money is rising to hit the UPA. When Anna Hazare started his death to fast for a strong Lokpal, UPA tried to ignore at starting and paid for it later. This time with Babaramdev UPA was more cautious and shown over enthusiasm by sending 4 UPA ministers including Pranab Mukherjee to the airport to receive him and request him to call off his decision on fasting. Again Congress was cornered for giving too much importance for Ramdhev. From the past 1 year corruption and black money is haunting the UPA government and the worst part for them is that not Judiciary, opposition or parliamentarians are criticizing the UPA, but civil society is engaging in the matter to a greater extent.This is the kind of response that every social activist dream for to have a greater public participation. Having that in their back, you see how the strong Govt like UPA is shivering like baby.

Anna has achieved a great deal of confidence from the people and cornered the government to a great extent on his fast. Anna is no one before his fast, but became national hero after the math. Now its not the same case with Baba Ramdhev, he is already a hero for many with millions of followeres of his own. Apart from that his proximity to RSS is the main cause of concern for Congress. If at all Baba ramdhev sits in hunger strike for at least 3 days, a definite surge of peoples support will emerge across the nation. Already RSS publicly acknowledged their support to Ramdhev. TDP, BJP, Shivasena, and many other are on their way to support him. With Anna its not certain, but Ramdhev's succesful hunger strike will only means change of power in the next elections. UPA recognized it but can only do little stop him.

అబ్దుల్ కలాం ఒక రోజు, ఒక చిన్న పాప తో, నీవు పెద్ద అయ్యాక ఏమి కావాలని కోరుకుంటున్నావు అని అడిగినప్పుడు తను "అభివృద్ధి చెందిన భారత దేశం లో బ్రతకాలని కోరుకుంటున్న " అని చెప్పిందట. అది విన్న కలాం చేలించిపోయారట. నేను అప్పుడప్పుడు పాత పాటలు వింటూ ఉంటాను. ఒక రోజు నాకు ఇష్టమైన N.T.R. పాట వస్తుంది. "ఉంది లే మంచి కాలం ముందు ముందు న , అందరు సుకపడాలి నంద నందన' అని. అది 1950s లో రాసి ఉండి ఉండవచ్చు . ఆ పాట రాసిన కవి ఊహించి ఉనడక పోవచ్చు, భారతావనికి స్వతంత్రం వచ్చి ఆరు పదులు దాటినా ఆ మంచిరోజు రాలేదు అని.

నా స్నేహితులు, సన్నిహుతులు, నా చుట్టూ ఉన్నవారు, నా ఊరి ప్రజలు, యావత్ భారతదేశం కోరుకుంటుంది, భరత దేశం అభివృద్ధి చెందాలని. ఇన్ని కోట్ల మంది ప్రజలు కోరుకుంటున్నా అది ఆశించిన స్థాయి లో జరగడం లేదు. కాని  రాజకీయ నాయకులు కొన్ని వేల  మంది మాత్రమే ఉన్నారు, వారికీ కావలిసిన డబ్బు, అధికారం, బలగం, పలుకుబడి అన్ని సంపాదిన్చుకున్తున్నారు. ఎందుకు ప్రజలు గా మనం మాత్రం విఫలం చెందుతున్నాము. మన బాగు పేరు చెప్పి, మన సేవ చేస్తానని వెళ్ళిన వారు మాత్రం కోటానుకోట్లు సంపాదిన్చుకున్తున్నారు. 

మన లక్ష్యం మహోన్నతమైనది. 120 కోట్ల భారతీయులు అభివృద్ధి చెందాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాము. ప్రపంచ దేశాలలో భారత దేశం అగ్ర స్థానం లో ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాము, కాశ్మీర్ లో ఉన్న్న ప్రజలు గర్వంగా మేము భారతీయులం అని చెప్పుకోవాలని  కోరుకుంటున్నాము, చైనా , పాకిస్తాన్ మనలని కవ్విస్తే సరయిన సమాధానం చెప్పాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాము . ఇంకా ఎన్నో ఎన్నో ఆశలు అశయాలు. కాని మన లక్ష్యానికి తగ్గ కృషి మనం చేస్తున్నామా? మన ఆశయాలని సాధించుకోవాలన్న పట్టుదల మనలో ఉందా? యిన్ని కోరికలు ఉన్న మనం రేపు ఎన్నికలు వచినప్పుడు, నా కులం వాడిని చూసో, నా మతం వాడిని చూసో, లేక పోతే నాకు డబ్బు ఇచిన వాడికో వోటు వేస్తాము. వాడు కబ్జా కోరు అయిన ఆ క్షణం లో పట్టించుకోము, రౌడీ అయిన పట్టించుకోము, మన అవసరాలకోసం పని చేస్తాడో లేదో కూడా పట్టించుకోము. మన కులమో మతమో గెలిస్తే చాలనుకున్టాము . కాని ఒక కులమో ఒక మతమో ఒక ప్రాంతమో గెలిచిన ప్రతీసారి మన దేశం ఓడిపోతుందని తెలుసుకోము. మనం ప్రలోభాలకి లోబడి వోటు వేసినంత కాలం, భారత దేశం అభివ్రుది చెందాలని కోరుకునే హక్కు మనకు లేదు. మన రేపటి తరాల వారి ముందు తల దించుకుని నిలబడవలసి వస్తుంది. 

భారత దేశ చరిత్ర లో అత్యధిక సమయం, ప్రపంచానికి మార్గ దర్శకం గా నిలచిన దేశం, ఈనాడు, అసమర్దుల చేతిలో పడి కన్నీరు కారుస్తుంది. మన మువ్వన్నల జెండా ఆనంద రెపరెపలు చూసుకోడానికి, భారత జాతి కీర్తి మరల నలు దిశలు వినిపించడానికి, మన చిన్నారులకి అభివ్రుది చెందిన మరియు  నిజమయిన భారత దేశం లో నివసించడానికి, ఒక నవ భరతావని రచించడానికి పౌర సమాజం సాహస నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోన వలసిన సమయం ఆసన్నమయ్యింది. ఉన్నత లక్ష్యాలు ఉన్నత మయిన ఆలోచనల వల్లనే సాధ్యమవుతాయి. Do the right thing and do what it takes. నీ కోసం, సత్యం కోసం, విలువల కోసం, దేశ ఔన్నత్యం కోసం నిలబడ్డ వ్యక్తికి ఇచ్చే నీ మద్దతే వారికి చోదక శక్తి గా పనికి వస్తుంది, అదే మన దేశ గమనాన్ని సరయిన మార్గం లో పెడుతుంది. 

Assembly Elections 2011

I was bit surprised looking at the results and the way people think when they are voting.
The first thing that makes me happy, is that the people of Assam, by keeping its long run Congress government for another 5 years. After seeing ULFA and other separatist groups trying hard to separate Assam and NE states out from India, a decisive vote to keep the running government for future is a good sign for India. With this win I assume the Congress Govt would have kept the separatists well behind the poles.

Now the much awaited poles of Andhra Pradesh by elections. Being the son and wife of YSR, and immediate elections after his death, Jagan's and Vijayamma's win is pre-decisive. But the huge majority, huge out burst of support for Jagan and Vijayamma are quiet staggering. I am totally surprised on the votes they have got for YSR congress. How could one analyse that. After Congress focussed Kadapa with 16 state ministers, and few central ministers, and making it a battle between Sonia and Jagan, and adding glamor to it with Chiru turned out to be a disastrous flop show.
The allegations of corruption, rowdyism, and the huge money power he has shown, I would definitely or perhaps any wise thinker would not want Jagan to be in Power. But the Kadapa and Pulivendhula voters have seen it differently. May be on global prospective Jagan looks wrong for me. but definitely people of Kadapa see him as a powerful asset for them. They certainly see what good can Jagan bring to Kadapa irrespective of what bad he has done to state as whole. Well that makes me recollect popular political sutra "focus on local politics". You be hero for your local people, is doesn't matter if your a villain out side your constituency. Thats why we see many smugglers like Veerappan or Maoists got hero image by taking care of their local people.

Now seems like the central congress leadership turning back and looking towards Jagan to join back into congress. if not he joins, definitely Congress sent signals of friendly going in future. This move by congress will make Chiru look like buffoon once again. Thats the congress mark politics. Given the nature of Jagan, its not too easy for Congress to go friendly with him. What ever it is, I pray to the God that I will not see him as a future chief minister for the state.
Other decisive victory is throwing out 34 years old communist government in Bengal. People of Bengal are ready to see a change and the expectation on Mamata were huge. Its is a tough ride for her to administrate the Thrunamool government filled with communist supporters.
One thing that I always like with Tamil Nadu is that the people are always cognizant about 'whats happening around'. The win of Jayalalitha symbolizes the voters thinking of a definite NO-NO to corruption and family politics shown by Karunanidhi.

The Existence of God

Does god really exists. If he does who is he? Krishna, Rama, Jesus, Allah, or Budha….Who is the real god among these. If he exists what are his duties or what he really does. Why most of the gods (except in Hinduism) are male gods. Is it something to do with male dominance in the old days?

In age old days people thought storms, lightning, forest fires, etc.. are the actions of God’s angriness and people started sacrificing things that they like or things that are important to make god happy. Mayan’s sacrificed their people, Africans sacrificed their pets, and we still see Indians sacrificing hens, goats, etc.. From the time we evolved the idea of god existed but in different forms. The form of god changed from formless to a specific human form in recent history of mankind. But the core idea of what not changed is that the people pray to god for the fear of god or by thinking god can do favor to them.

 

People in the olden days prayed to fire, sun, wind, moon….then later, as time moves, we started praying Rama, Krishna, Jesus, Allah, Buddha etc… Hindu’s even pray to all the nine planets in the solar system. With all this forms of god and all different ways the teachings go, how one can think the god is one super power that really exists, controls, and the responsible for whatever happen in the universe. If I look back some 3000 years or 4000 years the most prominent gods are humans with god’s identity and before that the god is identified with ocean, water, fire, sun, moon etc…So as the time progresses or as we find answers to different questions (why fire, why earth quakes, why lightening..), we find new gods.  

Lord Rama was not considered as god when he lived and ruled his kingdom. But during his time he set forth the benchmarks on how to live, rule and respect. There are several occasions in the Ramayana showing Rama praying to Siva or Vishnu. Does it mean God is praying to another god?

Look at Krishna, he was a king, lived life with others, and also died. We also know how he died and how his kingdom was looted after his kingship. Krishna taught with his doings on how to live life by following dharma. Jesus showed the love and forgiveness to the world. Buddha taught living in peace. Before Jesus it was Church, Before Rama, it was Siva, before Siva it was Knowledge, before knowledge, it was Sun, fire, moon etc…People in Egypt thought that their Kings are the Gods and they have super powers.

See the latest gods, Sai baba, Satya Sai, Swami narayan, Adhi Shankara Charyulu, … they all lived with us , but they are extraordinary people in their times who has shown things that is not possible by the contemporary people or set forth sensible teachings on how to live  ….

So I really believe all the gods are really are the people once shown us on how to live. Instead following them or taking the best out of them, we made them Gods and asking them to do favors in our lives. I myself go to temple and pray like any other but maybe I am paying respect to my elders for their work in the history.

Jawaharlal Nehru once said “if god really does not exist, it is necessary to invent him”. So the existence of god is still needed for the better operation of the society.

India is getting ready for a revolution

I always believed technology can answer the great problems of India and history proves that. Green revolution brought the self sufficiency to India, white revolution solved the problem of milk and made India as the number one producer of the milk. Educated-Unemployment of India was solved with IT revolution. Any problem, that can be corruption, terrorism, development, medical, educational etc., I believe technology can answer it. I still remembers the days in my child hood, if one has to call out of the district, they have to book a trunk call and wait for may be 30 min to get the call connected to them. It is so hard to get a phone connection, one has to at least wait for a year with highest possible recommendation. You see now, in less than 10 years time, every one now maintaining at least two SIM cards and takes minutes to get a new connection. It was made possible with telecom revolution. Take e-governance, some of the divisions in the government sectors were made at most transparent by utilizing information technology. Media should be recognized on their role in bringing out modern problems.
Indian media, most of the time is recognized as hyper active. Thats true for most part. After being looked at media with pessimistic eyes, and after making so much fun of media... i feel one should recognize what media contributed to the recent Anna Hazare's fight on corruption. The Lokpal Bill was kept undercover for more than 40 years. Many people fought for it and haven't succeeded to pass it in the Parliament. When all the crooked politicians of the nation are trying so hard to keep it under the well, how could a man like Anna on his demands got almost instant nod from the government? Thats where the media came in and played a crucial role. Print and visual media  across the nation, from national to local to ultra local, took the information so effectively into the masses. They motivated the people sitting and relaxing on lean chairs to move and act to support him. They created a sense of "this is the time to act" in peoples mind. People across the globe supported him on his fasting and demanded the Govt to act on it. I am not saying this all only happened with media, but I can see what they did for the nation. For a longtime, the people of India for most part were acted as spectators, they watch, feel and forget. Now I think that people has reached their limits in taking things fro granted. Anna being an activist for most of his life, he himself said, that he didn't expect such a huge response from the people. No body expected such a response, otherwise once again politicians would have grabbed it for their only use of votes. I would say, Government was just shocked seeing the peoples response. Remember, On the first day of his fast, Govt said, It is not possible constitutionally to accept his demands and his fast will not yield any results. You see how fast they took back their statement. Seeing the people united to support Anna, I was in blissful happy and my hopes on the nation had gained strength. Its always the people who changed the history. Now seeing them becoming active, I feel India is slowly getting ready for a revolution. I know lot has to be done, and what happened is nothing but a foundation, I am hopeful that with the peoples awareness on the importance of Lokpal and the support of media, we can see a good Lokpal bill passing in the parliament.

 నా చిన్నతనం లో మా నాయనమ్మతో తో నాకు ఉన్న అనుభంధం, చిన్నతనం లో జరిగిన విషయాలు కొన్ని రాసుకున్నాను. అవే ఇక్కడ కొన్ని ....

నా చిన్న తనం చాలా భాగం మా ఊరు గోవిందరావు పేట లోనే గడిచింది. మా ఇంట్లో నేను, అక్క అమ్మ, నాన్న, తాతయ్య, నాయనమ్మ, జేజమ్మ, ముత్తాత మొత్తం 8 మంది ఉండేవాళ్ళం  .... చాలా సరదాగా ఉండేది. నాయనమ్మ పేరు కృష్ణ భాయి, అందరు కృష్ణమ్మా అనే వాళ్ళు. నా పేరు లో ఉన్న కృష్ణ మా నానమ్మ పెరులోదే. మా ఇంటికి పెట్టుకున్న పేరు కూడా 'శ్రీ కృష్ణ నిలయం' ... 

మా నాయనమ్మ చూడడానికి సినిమాల్లో చూపించే నాయనమ్మ లాగానే ఉంటుంది, వెంకటిగిరి చీర, పెద్ద బొట్టు, మొహానికి పౌడర్, జడలో పూలు, కొంచెం బొద్దుగా  ఉండేది. చాలా అమాయకురాలు. మా నాయనమ్మ కి నలుగురు అబ్బాయిలు, ఒక అమ్మాయి. అమ్మాయి చిన్నప్పుడే చనిపోయింది, తను పాకుతూ వెళ్లి దేవుడు దగ్గర పెట్టిన గడ్డ జున్ను తిని, అది అరగక చనిపోయింది అని చెప్పేది. మా నాయనమ్మ కొడుకుల పేర్లు రాజ రావు, ప్రతాప్, సురేంద్ర, నరేంద్ర. నేను ఒక రోజు అడిగాను "నాయనమ్మ మీ అబ్బాయిలకి  పేర్లు ఎవరు పెట్టారు అని, 'నేనే పెట్టారా , నా కొడుకులు అందరు రాజాల్ల బతకాలని రాజుల పేర్లు పెట్టా అని. '
ఆ రోజు elections , మా నాయనమ్మ అద్దం ముందు కూర్చుని కనీసం గంట సేపు తయారయ్యింది, బయటికి వెళ్లి ఓటు వెయ్యాలని అనుకుంట, ...... మొత్తం బాగా తయారయ్యి, ఇంటి గేటు వరకు వెళ్ళింది , అక్కడ మా నాయనమ్మ ఫ్రెండ్స్ వెయిటింగ్ నాయనమ్మ కోసం, గేటు దగ్గరనుండి నాయనమ్మ అరుపు, "ఏవండి ఓటు ఎవరికీ వెయ్యాలి?" అప్పుడు మా తాతగారు,...... "గంట  సేపు సింగారించావు, అప్పుడు అడగలేదు, బజార్లో నే అడగాల ?, తెలుగు దేశానికీ వెయ్యి. " అంటే?  ఏది ...... "సైకిల్ గుర్తు ఉంటది దానికి వేసి రా" . ఇలా బయట విషయాలు ఏవి తెలీదు అన్ని తాతయ్యే, మా తాత complete opposite అనుకోండి, చదువుకున్న కలెక్టర్ కన్నా మా తాత కే ఎక్కువ తెలుసు అనుకుంట విషయాలు. మహా మేధావి... మా thatha గారు చదివింది 2nd క్లాసు కానీ, ఒక్క ఇంగ్లీష్ ముక్క అన్న లేకుండా సెంటెన్స్ మాట్లాడేవారు కాదు.


ఒకరోజు ఇంటికి కూలి పని చేసిన వాళ్ళు డబ్బుల కోసం వచ్చారు, తాత గారు రేపు రమ్మన్నారు, మరుసటి రోజు వస్తే ఈ రోజు కాదు మల్లి రేపు రమ్మన్నారు. మా నయనమ్మ ఆకక్డే ఉంది అన్ని చూసి, కూలి వాళ్ళ ముందే, "ఆ బీరువాలో ఉన్న డబ్బులు ఏదో వాళ్ళకి ఇవ్వచు గ ఎ రోజు క రోజు లేవని మల్లి  రమ్మంటావు... అల తిప్పించుకో కూడదు పాపం తగులుద్ధి అని" మా తాత గారు చూడాలి మా నాయనమ్మ అన్న దానికి ఏమి చెయ్యాలో అర్ధం కాలేదు.
నేను నాయనమ్మ ఒకక్ రోజు కలిసి సినిమా చూస్తున్నాము ఇంట్లో టీవీ లో, ఎవడో వచ్చి సినిమాలో ఒక అమ్మాయి ని కతి తో పొడవాలి, వాడు వచ్చి పొడిచిన క్షణమ లో మా నాయనమ్మ "ఇదేమి మాయరోగం, సచ్చినోడు, ఆడపిల్ల అని కూడా చూడకుండా అల పోదిచేసాడు, వీడి ముదనష్టం అవ్వ అని......ఇంకా ఏదో ఏదో ...." సినిమా ని సినిమా గ చూడలేక పోయేది, సినిమా చూసిన రోజు ఎదన్న ఏడుపు  సీన్ వచిందంటే ఇక ఆ రోజు అంత తలుచుకునేది....
ఒక రోజు సాయం కాలం  బయట మంచం వేసుకుని కూర్చున్నాము ఇంట్లో అందరం ఉన్నట్టు ఉన్నాము ' ఇక ఆ రోజంతా ఒక్కటే టాపిక్ " మా పెధననగారు అన్నయ్యని కొట్టారు అంట ... " పిల్లలని అసలా ఎలా కొడతారు, అసలా చూడలేక పోతున్నాను ఇవన్ని, నేను కొట్టకుండా ఎవరి పైన చెయ్యి వెయ్యకుండా నలుగురి కొడుకుల్ని పెంచలేద అని, ఇంకా పిల్లల్ని కొట్టడం మానకపోతే నేను హైదరాబాద్ కి రాను అని చెప్పి వచ్చేసా  అని చెప్పింది "... ఇలా ఎవరు ఏడ్చినా బాధ పడిన అది సినిమా అయిన నిజం అయిన ఒర్చుకునేది కాదు.
ఇంట్లో గీధలకి పేర్లు దూడలకి పేర్లు, పెట్టేది.


ఒక రోజు అక్క నేను కొట్టుకుంటూ  ఉంటె  కత్హి  పీత వచ్చి నా గడ్డానికి గుచుకుని రక్తం రావడం మొదలు అయింది. అది చూసిన మా నాయనమ్మ నన్ను ఎతుకుని రోడ్ పైన ఏడ్చుకుంటూ హాస్పిటల్ కి తీసుకుని వెళ్ళింది... ఇలా చాల సెన్సిటివ్. ఇంకా ఎన్ని ఎన్నో జ్ఞాపకాలు మా నాయనమ్మ వి నా మది లో ఉంది పోయాయి.


మా నాయనమ్మ కాన్సెర్ తో చని పోయింది. చనిపోయే సమయానికి చాల బక్కగా నీరసం గ ఉండేది. చాల నరకం గ ఉండేది .. చాల బాధ ని అనుభవించింది.. ఎంత నీరసమ యిన ఎంత పేయన్  ఉన్న  ప్రతి రోజు స్నానం చేసి నుదిటి న పెద్ద బొట్టు పెట్టుకుని దేవుడికి దన్నం పెట్టుకొని   రోజు లేదు అనుకుంటున్నా. ఎవ్వరు కొంచెం బాధపడ్డ చూడలేని నాయనమ్మ తఃనే ఎంతో బాధ పది  చనిపోవడం నిజమగ చెప్పలేని బాధ... పండగ వస్తే మూడు నలుగు నెలలకి సరిపడా  వంటలు  వందే  నాయనమ్మ తను చనిపోయ్సే సమయానికి, తను కట్టుకున్న చీఅరని కూడా బరువుగా ఉంది ర మోయలేక పోతున్న అనేది....

India Vs Pakistan ... a ray of hope

Soldiers are fighting so hard on the battle field to make their side win and millions across the two sides are praying for an outcomefavorable to their own. But the two kings sitting side by side watching the battle have entirely different motivation and hoping for a root of friendship arise from the battle field and holds the ground to grow in future. this would be the situation on the day of India fights against Pakistan in confirming their berth in finals.

Vishala Bharath or Akhand Bharath.... a dream of any Indian who connects deep to the mammoth history of India.  When I was a child and may be being a child I always wanted India to be big and just like what it use to be. Now I know its a great dream that never becomes true.



Well lets not be one ... but can't we just behave like one.. after all, we all share the unbroken history and common ancestors. Even today many people who lived in undivided India are still living and dreaming with consciousness on how it would have been if we were not divided. Both countries have wounds that takes centuries to heal but how can we forget, that we all share the same blood. India which got its name from Indus is in Pakistan... and Pakistan after all is a part of India (thats my feeling...though its not true).....

I hope and wish that good relations emerge from the meeting between the two leaders and prosper in the form of togetherness.

Dont expect apples from orange seeds...

I am writing this in response to some of my friends, who says 'they like JP but to forbid congress to get into power, they want to vote TDP'...its not just my friends but many says that...

I agree with them...yes TDP does better than Congress...but is that what we need. I will tell you a story

Those are the days India under the control of British, and people are so vexed with British brutal ruling. British was not following any rules or a law to rule India. No reasons why they arrest some one, why they kill some one, whey they beat up some one..just their wish.......you cant question them t ....that's the time people of India urging the British to establish a rule, to establish a law ....yes definitely having some rule is better than no rule...
.but Mahatma Gandhi  raised his voice for The Complete Independence, but not just a rule of law. British announced that they will establish a law, and their idea is to suppress the people anger with this announcement..
Now what you support? Gandhi for Complete Independence or a rule of law...I know you will say first lets have a rule of law then we will ask for Independence....but i am telling you if you just try for rule of law it would have taken few more extra decades to complete independence.
If It was me I would have supported complete independance because that is what I want...and people who support rule of law also want 'complete Independence' but they are doubtful whether that can achieved the full Independence or not....but one thing for sure .... if you support rule of law you have no right to expect Independence...

you can now support TDP to stop Congress but you have no right to ask for complete change....
Think broad what we need..... number one India that can stand up with mighty China and USA or just better India that is capable of doing wars with Pakistan...If you want number one India do what it takes...support the right ones and expect great things from them...
if people like you, who studied so much, living and seeing so many great things in foreign nations, if you cant think broad and aim for high, it will never never happen in India... you better know, it is the few wise and educated individuals who lead the independance movement....its the time for you to look high and support the right thing.....

One thing that I always listen from people of USA is "I did it beacuse thats the right thing to do"...dont think so much, dont solve so many equations to do little good like to get TDP into power, if you could have done the best possible thing like to get Loksatta into power....you vote for Loksatta because that is the right thing to do....... If they are trying so hard for years to bring change and you postpone your support to them..its just a postponment of number one India..... "your suppport " it has to happen some day..why cant that to be today.......
I am telling you...even if you postpone it today,  again tomorrow it will be only you who need to start supporting the right thing .

Can you tell me why?

If you look at the appearance of different nationals, they all look almost same. Take a Chinese guy and compare him with any other..they all look white, they have similar features like small eyes and nose, they almost speak same language (majority), majority of them belong to one clan/sect (75% are XXXX (forgot )clan). Take Arabs, take Europeans, look at south Americans...you can see lot of similarities in there color, sect, roots, language, and also how they look etc...

Look at Africans...they all look similar in their features (their nose, lips, color ....) and are common to any one in Africa...

Why Indians have the total range of colors in them, from whitest to the darkest.....and they all mixed so well, to the level of families, for example in my own family, we have people with black color and people who are fair.....why is this?  Can any one explain?

May be Rowdyism works better 4 me

When I was small, I remember, If some one comes to my house, the most likely question that I should be ready to answer was "what would like to become as you grow up?", and the answer they like to listen is either Engineer/Doctor/Scientist....those professions are considered to be lucrative in those days... But now looking at whats going on in India, I feel like I did a mistake. May be I should have considered "rowdyism" as my career option. I am serious ...... !!!!.

You know Mr. Bhanu, who killed Suri, his assets were estimated to be around 250 Cr. all that was earned in the last 15 years..
did you heard of Singanamal Ramesh, the film producer, he has a side business too..that is settlements ..his assets are estimated around 200Cr. thats in last 10 years....
These are all small people, no body knows about them till suri's murder..... imagine how many of such rowdies and how much of such money lying in their black hands......man! big bucks are lying over there....
Best example Mr. Jagan, from a bongu to a king..... in just 7 years....rapid growth...
Just few days back, in Maharashtra, people involved in mafia torched a public administrator to death. Imagine what kind of money they dealing with to take such kind of risks.
Huge Huge amounts,...How many life times that I need to work to see that kind of money....
Tell me what you do to become an engineer...pass each and every exam, every year....apart form your work your parents have to work day night to pay ur fees....If you want to become a rowdy...you don't need to pass any, its all simple ..... go to gym.....eat like pig and hit those whom you doesn't like....

Nalanda Maha Viswa Vidhyalaya

After so many years of discussions among Asian nations, the dream of rebuilding the Nalanda University, and the vision Dr. APJ Abdhul Kalam was announced few months back. Singapore, China, Indonesia, Japan and many other Asian nations are involved in this project and are the countries like Japan and singapore are donating generously to re-build the first ever known university near to its ruins at Bihar, India. Why all these countries that share different opinions on every possible international matters, have come together to build this University. Why is it so important. ?

If Nalanda University was not destroyed by Afghan ruthless conqueror Khilji in 1193, it should have been the oldest university known to mankind. Nalanda University is established in 5th century (i.e. some where in the years of 400-500) , now we are in 21st century (2011), if we could have been protected the university, imagine how magnanimous it would have been now. 

Nalanda was an old centre of learning that attracted students from many countries in the world, particularly China and Tibet, Korea and Japan, and the rest of Asia, but a few also from as far in the west as Turkey. Nalanda, a residential university, had at its peak 10,000 students, studying various subjects. Nalanda is the only non-Chinese institution in which any Chinese scholar was educated in the history of ancient China.

It was exactly the time when Nalanda flourished, Indian astronomy, Trigonometry, Calculus, Logic, Psychology and Religion were well celebrated and recognized across the world. It is important to note here on how friendly the Indians were to foreigners, who come for their educational and research works. The two well known scholars in Mathematics and religion, Xuangzang and Yi Jing mentions the warm welcome they received as they arrived in Nalanda from China. 

Nalanda served as converging point to the great scholars of the time. Nalanda at its peak, has around 2000 professors of different nationals working on diversified subjects. After china's invasion of Tibet and negligence in colonial era, many great Buddhist works were abandoned. Its an important to re-build the university to focus again on Buddhist philosophies and scholarly works of the time. 
Once its all completed, I hope it brings out the warmth and friendly relations that we had with China and many other nations of Asia and also the common cultural thread that we all shared and enjoyed.

No information is available about Shah Jahan’s Peacock throne, inlaid with precious stones, including the Kohinoor diamond, which was plundered by Nader Shah and taken to Persia in 1739.

The Kohinoor, a 105-carat diamond, once the largest in the world, was ostensibly presented to Queen Victoria in 1849 by the son of the Maharaja of Lahore, although many historians argue it was plundered by British Governor General Lord Dalhousie. The diamond is now at the Tower of London.

Another item is the Sultanganj Buddha, named after the town in northeastern India where it was found, was dug out of an abandoned Buddhist monastery in 1861 along with other priceless artefacts under the direction of E B Harris, a pith-helmeted functionary of the British Raj.

Within months, the 1,500-year-old bronze statue was shipped to Britain after a Birmingham industrialist, Samuel Thornton, secured it for 200 pounds.

Now the so-called “Birmingham Buddha” is one of the artefacts at the top of a list of “stolen treasures”.

Then, according to The Independent, is the Amravati railings, a series of limestone carvings dating from around AD100, acquired from a Buddhist temple in Andhra Pradesh by Victorian explorers.

The 2,000-year-old Amravati railings, which are limestone plaques from south-eastern India, depicting scenes from the life of Buddha, presently in the British Museum.

The Sultanganj Buddha, a 2.3m tall bronze statue, plundered by a British engineer in 1861 from North-east India, presently in the Birmingham city museum. 

There is the Saraswati idol, a sculpture of the Hindu deity from the Bhoj temple

India is seeking UNESCO support to retrieve priceless antiquities, such as the Peacock Throne and the Kohinoor, looted by foreign invaders. Other sought treasures include A marble Saraswati statue stolen from a temple at Bhojsala in central India and subsequently acquired by the British Museum in 1886.

India should get all of them back but I don't think we can make it !!!

System Vs People: What should change

I remember once, the govt has built new houses for the poor living on the streets, the intention of the government is to move them from the streets to the new houses, so that they can extend the road...but the people who got them, rented out those new houses and found a new street to build their new shelter.... who's problem is this here... the system or the people....

Who should be held responsible for the problems like corruption, hygienic conditions, backwardness, power misuse, etc... that we smell every day in India. Is it the problem with The System or it is more deep and is the problem with the peoples mind set. It is one of the popular discussions that my self involved in several times......

In India, if I step out

I see people cleaning their house and throwing the waste onto the roads....

I see people spitting on the chairs and roads

I see people giving bribes to get things done

I see people finding shortcuts to get rid of long Que...
bribe for license, bribe for certificate, bribe to get gazetted officer signature, ......

Most of the times in my discussion, I get majority of the people showing finger at The People as the reason for most of the problems. They say 'people pointing at the system are only finding ways for the excuses for their deeds.......' Ideally speaking a society which respects human values and follows Dharma shall flourish irrespective what system they are following...... are all of us sages to be like that...NO.

I tried to get my birth certificate, it took me almost a month to find out whats going on with the application...the next day i gave 500Rs to the attender, the certificate is in my hands with in next one hour.this happened in Kukatpally some office. Now whose problem is this? mine or system? I am sure I would have got the certificate if I wait for few more days...But if you do so, people looking at you will say that you are stupid.....

You can say, I should be strong and follow Dharma, then you are only expecting a Perl from the shell taken out of mud. I am from a society that embraced the shitty system. I just cant resist it even if I want to be good... Its is important to clean the mud before you expect Perls from it. 

My point is always, "if there are problems in a nation, that means there are serious problem in their institutions/systems". Our police system is spoiled, civil system is spoiled, political  system is spoiled, educational system is spoiled, health system is spoiled etc... but on the same land we have comparatively best judicial system, best election commission....So its not the people that's the problem, but the surrounding/systems/institutions are bad.
One simple example, when I was in India, i throw stuff on the roads, I followed shortcuts, I jumped the traffic signals...but why I am not doing any of those in USA, is it because I changed suddenly as soon as my feet touches holy soil of USA, No, the systems here doesn't allow me to do any of those.

Its great if we have all people follow ethics, but do you wanna spend next 100 years to educate and change the people, then start thinking about progress.....The best option to make things change fast is to implement the reforms they all sitting and waiting in the store rooms of govt of India. Lokpal bill is waiting to curb the corruption, police reforms, educational reforms, political reforms and many other reports with detailed plans are waiting. Huge responsibility on law makers to make all those changes, but there is no political will or they intentionally ignoring it for their benefit.
